Locomotives on Mining Railway

This is about locomotives on Mining railway in bituminous coal area between Ostrava and Karviná. The first steam locomotives for this railway were built in Wiener Neustadt locomotive works (Class IXa), the last steam locomotive class was the 514.0 (built between years 1927 and 1930 in locomotive works ČKD Prague). After World War II locomotive stock was motorize. Now OKD Doprava (company, which is operated Mining railway) own Diesel-locomotive class 740, 770 and 771 for Mining railway service.
