The article describes train protection systems, which are currently used on railway lines in Switzerland. Sicherheitssteuerung 237 is one of the oldest one and it constist's of two subsystems: Schnellgang (Dead man's principle) and Langsamgang (Vigilance control). Zugsicherung 240 (also called Integra-Signum) is the oldest system, which is still in use. The system used trackside magnets. Since 1990s the system Zugbeeinflussung 121 (similar to German PZB system) has been installed. But now also European Train Control System (ETCS) Level 1 or Level 2 is beeing installed.
