This article describes the control of railway traffic on state railways of the Russian Federation (RZD). There are also described types of lines signalling equipment and station interlocking equipment used on RZD. The railway traffic on all lines is controlled by section train dispatchers. The dispatchers are usually located in regional control centres, e.g. 52 dispatchers are in control centre in Moscow.
Several examples of train traffic diagrams (planned and fulfilled) and railway guides are attached to this article.
