Electric Traffic Olomouc - Nezamyslice

The capitol of central Moravia - Olomouc - is connected with Prostějov and Nezamyslice by 39 km long railway line. The line is electrificated only since 1993, in passenger services since this year we can meet several classes of electric locomotives of units. At the beginning of electric traffic all of passenger trains were hauled by locomotives class 140. Later these locomotives were replaced by locomotives class 163, 130 and finally by class 111. But locomotives class were not suitable for passenger traffic and therefore these ones were replaced by EMUs class 451. Express trains are hauled by locomotives class 363.
