Present Time of the Line Opava - Ostrava

In year 2004 the electrification of the line Opava - Ostrava will be started. But now on working days the most of passenger trains are operated by locos of the class 749 (DKV Olomouc). These locomotives are also in freight service on the line. Several passenger trains on working days and all trains on weekends (except pair 3443/3440 with loco 749 on Sundays) are operated by diesel motor coaches of the classes 843 (DKV Olomouc), 842 (DKV Valašské Meziříčí) and 810 (DKV Olomouc), but sometimes they can be replaced by locos class 742.
