Narrow-gauge Railway Oschatz - Kemmlitz

This article describes evolution of narrow-gauge railway network around town Mügeln. The first line of the network, line Oschatz - Mügeln - Döbeln, was opened in years 1884 and 1885. The lenght of whole network was 72,7 km. But now only the line Oschatz - Mügeln - Kemmlitz (17 km) is operated by company Döllnitzbahn GmbH. Every day between Oschatz and Alt Mügeln passenger service is operated, but now with diesel locomotives. Also steam locomotives are operated (DBG has three locomotives of former class IV K), but only occasionally.
